The Via Christi Cancer Center is a freestanding outpatient cancer treatment facility for outpatient cancer rehabilitation and radiation therapy. It features CyberKnife, a noninvasive alternative to surgery for treating tumors anywhere in the body. It also includes a Cancer Resource Center to learn more about your condition.
The Via Christi Cancer Institute, on the seventh floor of St. Francis, is the area’s only dedicated inpatient medical and surgical treatment center specifically for cancer. It includes radiation therapy rooms, an ambulatory infusion center, family gathering rooms and more. The Cancer Wellness Program helps build patients’ strength to fight the physical and emotional stress of cancer.

The Cancer Outreach and Risk Assessment program provides genetic testing and counseling to determine the risk of developing cancer in the future.
Lung cancer screening
The lowdose CT lung cancer screening can reduce death from lung cancer through early detection. Those who are or were longtime smokers are candidates for the screening.
