Dr. Womack is married with three children.
Hometown: Wichita, Kansas.
Languages: I was a French minor in college. Peu Francais (a little French).
Hobbies and interests: I enjoy music and scrapbooking. I play the violin and piano and played with the Wichita Symphony for six years.
Just once I would like to: Have the nerve to jump out of an airplane. I could never be so brave.
Why I chose medicine: I received two degrees in music first. After I got through the masters in music program, I realized it wasn't the direction I wanted to continue. I had thought about medicine in high school and revisited the idea at that time.
Why I chose pediatrics: I never really even considered anything else. I LOVE kids!
Most rewarding thing about being a doctor: Getting a patient through a difficult time.
Dr, Womack is quoted in Joyful noise: After two painfully silent years, Augusta teen recovers ability to speak, published in the June/July 2012 issue of Via Christi Life magazine.
