If I hadn't chosen medicine, my career would be: Teacher, movie director or musician.
Hobbies and interests: Model trains, music and movies.
Volunteer activities: Teach and guide pediatric residents two weeks each year.
Not too many people know: I taught for a year at Latino Youth Alternative High School in Chicago.
Greatest accomplishment: Became an assistant professor of Pediatrics at KU Medical School in Wichita.
Most rewarding thing about being a doctor: Seeing patients get better.
