Hometown: I'm originally from Rosebush, Mich., and have moved around due to schooling and the United States Air Force (USAF) before settling in Kan.
Family: My husband, Duane, recently retired from the USAF and currently works as a civilian at McConnell AFB.
Why I chose family medicine: Family Medicine was the right choice for me because I love building relationships with patients and the continuity of care. I enjoy seeing patients of all ages and their families and the challenge of treating all illnesses and disease states.
Latest accomplishment: Serving my country in the USAF as a physician for more than four years.
Most rewarding thing about being a doctor: Seeing positive changes in a patient's health and well-being while building relationships with them and their family.
