Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan has named Don Hedden as its physician services director and Tina Rockhold as development director of both the Mercy Community Health Foundation and Wamego Community Health Foundation.
Hedden, who has more than 30 years of healthcare experience, served as Via Christi Hospital’s Cardiopulmonary department director and Imaging Services administrative director. During his 21 years of service to Via Christi, he also managed the development of specialty practices.
Prior to joining the Via Christi Hospital team in 1997, he served as the Sleep Disorders team leader at Salina Regional Medical Center, as well as with St. Johns Health Center in Salina, Hays Medical Center and Citizens Medical Center in Colby.
Hedden has an Associate of Science degree in Allied Health Professions/Respiratory Therapy from Wichita State University and attended the Stanford School of Sleep Medicine in Palo Alto, Calif.
He and his wife of 33 years, Janet, have two daughters and two grandsons.
Rockhold most recently served as executive director of the Mercy Health Foundation in Fort Scott and community engagement manager for Mercy in the Joplin/Kansas market. Many of her responsibilities included relationship building and teamwork in a ministry-wide scope as well as within the local hospital community.
Rockhold earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Journalism from Texas State University and a Master of Science degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
Rockhold is the proud mother of three children—including two KSU Wildcats—and supporter of K-State Theater. Her hobbies include running, enjoying the great outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
