Diagnosis

For your physician to arrive at a proper breast cancer diagnosis, he or she may recommend that you have a digital mammogram, which is the most advanced imaging technology available for the early detection of breast cancer. Additionally, you may also be required to have breast MRI, which is a non-invasive diagnostic tool. Any abnormalities found during initial testing may require a biopsy (of which there are several types) and a pathology report, which will provide detailed information about your biopsy.
